In 2010 the West Side Pioneer Association/Tracy Historical Museum established a Scholarship program to recognize Tracy area graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated an interest in preserving the history of the Tracy community through a local history project or related volunteer work. In 2017, a Memorial Scholarship was added in the name of long-time Tracy area teacher and Museum volunteer, Judith Ann Lee.
Currently, three $500 scholarships are awarded each year:
- Two $500 Museum scholarships
- Judith Ann Lee Memorial Scholarship
Each award is made to a local graduating senior enrolled in a public high school located within Tracy Unified High School District boundaries, and who plans to attend a 2 year or 4 year college as a full time student in the Fall following graduation. Scholarship Applications are due by March 31 of the school year with awards issued in May.
Share the word and encourage your graduating seniors to apply.
